String Cheese Incident has confirmed plans for U.S. spring tour, a brief run that begins April 16 at Richmonds Landmark Theater in Virginia. The Charlie Hunter Quintet will open the first five shows of the tour, which also include an April 17 performance at Raleigh Civic Center Arena in North Carolina, an April 18 appearance at the Asheville Civic Center in North Carolina and a two-night stand at Suwanne Music Park in Live Oak, FL on April 19 and 20. The Florida dates will also feature the North Mississippi Allstars as well as other special guests. String Cheese will then head to the Midwest, for shows in Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota.
The band opens its annual Colorado Winter Carnival in mid-March. Then its off to Japan for four shows. Full details are available at the groups official website.
