Geoff Scott (Miracle Orchestra) has released Table 8 a collection from live performances recorded at Matt Murphy’s in Brookline Mass (the disc is named after the table in the club that needs to be removed for live shows). Scott, who gigs at the club Tuesday nights with a rotating collection of musicians, is joined on Table 8 by Mike Rivard (Club d’Elf), Sam Kininger (Soulive), Brahim Frigbane (Club d’Elf), Mister Rourke and the Sayers Brothers: Brian, Garret and Drew (on drums, bass and tenor sax).
Scott played a set last night on the Jam Nation radio show with Rivard, Drew Sayers and drummer Jeff Berlin which will air on XM Satellite Radio, Channel 43 this Thursday at 9PM, with repeats Friday at 4AM and 1PM, Saturday at 1AM and Sunday at 3PM all eastern time.
Scott performs tomorrow night at Matt Murphy’s in a quartet featuring Rivard, Andrew Barr and Timo Shanko. Information about this show and Table 8 can be found at Scott’s web site, altitudemusic.com.
