The initial line-up for Floydfest 2003 has been announced. The festival is slated for August 15 17 in Floyd, VA (hence the name, theres no connection to Pink Floyd). Thus far, performers include Old and in the Gray with Vassar Clements, David Grisman Quintet, Tony Rice, Mike Marshall and Darol Anger, Donna the Buffalo, John Browns Body, Nickel Creek, Acoustic Syndicate, Speech (Arrested Development), Morgan Heritage, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Hackensaw Boys, Spookie Daly Pride, Garaj Mahal, Mamadou Diabate, Baka Beyond, Larry Keel, dj Cheb i Sabbah, Man Alive!, Kusun Ensemble and The African Showboyz.
