Although Tom Hanks had announced to cast, crew and press that the members of Phish were to appear in his latest film, Jambands.com has learned that the musicians have been impersonated. Initially Hanks management would not comment on the four individuals who arrived on the set of Joe Versus the Volcano 2, stating ‘Were not sure, we were backstage and didn’t see it.’ However, sources have confirmed that the alleged Phishmates joining Hanks in the production, are in fact: Luke Perry (_Beverly Hills 90210 – The Graduation_) as Page McConnell, Sam Rockwell (_Confession of a Dangerous Mind_) as Mike Gordon, Elijah Wood (_Lord of the Rings_) in the role of a lifetime as a young Johnny Fishman and Chris Michetti (RAQ) as Trey Anastasio.
