Trey Anastasio and his nine-piece band will tour briefly in May and June. It will be the same roster as in 2002: Anastasio, bassist Tony Markellis, drummer Russ Lawton, keyboardist Ray Paczkowsi, trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick, alto saxophonist Dave Grippo, saxophonist Peter Apfelbaum, trombonist Andy Moroz, tenor saxophonist, flutist
Russell Remington, and percussionist Cyro Baptista. This is also the line-up that appears on the double live album, Plasma, due out on April 29. The tour kicks off May 26 and 27 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. After a gig at Philadelphias Electric Factory on May 28, the band heads west for a two-night stand at The Warfield in San Francisco on May 30 and 31 and will then travel to Denver for a performance at The Fillmore on June 2. On June 4 and 5, the group takes the stage at the Chicago Theatre in Illinois and will round out the tour on June 7 and 8 at Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, VT as part of the Discover Jazz Festival.
