Rob Marscher took the stage with RAQ last night at Tobacco Road in New York City. Marscher (Addison Groove Project) sat in on keyboards during the second set for a lengthy version of Late Night.
On Sunday, RAQ guitarist Chris Michetti and keyboardist Todd Stoops collaborated with Strangefolk at the StrangeCreek festival in Greenfield, MA. Both Michetti and Stoops jammed on Water, a fitting song given the heavy rain.
Speaking of rainy festivals, RAQ was one of the few bands to perform at Scottypaluza over the weekend. Due to the weather, attendance was extremely low and several acts were canceled. RAQ, determined to play, was ultimately given a two and a half hour set on the indoor stage.
The band will perform Saturday at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT, opening for Psychedelic Breakfast. For more information, visit www.raqmusic.com.
