Guitarist Will Bernard jammed with Bobby Vega and Ray White over the weekend at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. Friday night Bernard sat in with the duo for The Grateful Deads Wharf Rat and Frank Zappas City of Tiny Lights. Vega later returned the favor, joining Bernard and Motherbug for Ripple Sole and ‘Three Toed Sloth. Both bands opened for the Avalon Allstars, which featured Melvin Seals and members of Dark Star Orchestra.
Bernard is currently touring with Robert Walters 20th Congress. The group plays tonight at 8150 in Vail, CO. The complete schedule is up at www.willbernard.com.
