Yonder Mountain String Band has announced plans for its Old Hands fall tour. The jaunt kicks off October 2 and 3 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. The itinerary also includes a Boo-Grass Halloween concert at Schnitzer Hall in Portland, OR along with special guests Acoustic Hot Tuna, who will also join Yonder the following evening at Seattles Moore Theater. Then its off to Montana for shows in Bozeman and Missoula on November 3 and 4. The tour will head to the Midwest, with stops in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois, and eventually hit the East Coast, for dates in Pennsylvania, Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts. The tour concludes in the South East, as the band performs in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia.
Old Hands is the band’s most recent studio album and includes guest appearances by Jerry Douglas, Dirk Powell, Sally VanMeter, Tim O’Brien, Darol Anger, and Casey Driessen.
