Drummer Tom Arey (Uncle Sammy, Global Funk Council) will perform with A440 tonight, as the band takes the stage at Porters in Westbrook, CT. The groups drummer, Dino Foggan. Along with lead singer, Dave Jensen have both parted ways with A440. Next week, the band plans to try out a new line-up, which will feature Zac Lasher and George Miller of Head Monkey. In the meantime, Arey has been filling in. Its been a lot of fun, says Tom. Theyre in a revamping stage right now, so it makes it very interesting to play and theres a lot more improvisation than there’d normally be.’
Arey will also continue playing with Uncle Sammy through September 27, when the quartet plays its final show at Tobacco Road in New York City.
