Warren Haynes took the stage with Little Feat last night at the Bottle and Cork in Dewey Beach, DE. Haynes, whos in the midst of a rare break from touring, sat in for a portion of Dixie Chicken, which segued into a Dark Star jam. After Kenny Gradney and Bill Payne each exchanged solos with Haynes, the music meandered back into Dixie Chicken, with Tennessee Jed sandwiched in between.
Warren last performed with Little Feat at the Waiting for Columbus 25th anniversary show (in celebration of the bands legendary 1978 album) at Washington DCs Lisner Auditorium on October 14, 2002. The concert featured a long list of special guests including Jimmy Herring, Sonny Landreth, Drew Emmitt, Vince Herman, Bela Fleck, Jackson Browne, Levon Helms, John Molo, Sam Bush, and the All Mighty Senators horn section. Haynes joined in for Fat Man in the Bathtub > Get Up Stand Up > Fat Man in the Bathtub, Spanish Moon > Skin It Back, On Your Way Down and Dixie Chicken.
