Blues guitarist Tinsley Ellis joined Florida-based Tishamingo Saturday at the Brandy House in Atlanta. Ellis joined the group just prior to set break for Bullfrog Blues and Freddy Kings Drowning on Dry Land.
Drummer Richard Proctor and guitarist/vocalist Cameron Williams have jammed with Ellis in the past, dating back to the mid-nineties when he performed with their duo, Black Creek Band.
Tishamingo plays Wednesday at Proud Larrys in Oxford, MS. The group is also planning a tour with Waylandsphere in November. The official website is www.tishamingo.com.
