Keyboardist Ivan Neville, along with regular guests Karl Denson and Susan Tedeschi, took the stage with the Allman Brothers Band Friday at The Joint in Las Vegas. Neville came out for the encore, Southbound, which also featured Denson. Earlier in the show, Karl added saxophone to Desdemona and The Same Thing, two songs that hes been performing with the ABB often this tour (he played the former the next night in Salt Lake City). Tedeschi played on Dont Think Twice and Statesboro Blues.
Karl Densons Tiny Universe is currently touring the Allman Brothers Band. Both groups play tomorrow at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix. Susan, whos been traveling with her husband Derek Trucks and son Charlie, kicks off her own tour October 2 in Knoxville, TN.
