Drummer John Molo (Phil & Friends) performed with Particle last night at Victors in San Diego. Molo, who had played earlier in the night with Jemimah Puddleduck, joined the band midway through Sunmar 11, taking over for Particle drummer Darren Pujalet (Jemimah Puddleduck also features guitarist Mark Karan, bassist Bob Gross and keyboardist JT Thomas).
This weekend, Particle will appear at the Austin City Limits festival in Texas. Friday, the quartet will plays its official set at the festival, and Saturday it will perform a late-night gig at The Vibe. The group is attempting to be the last band standing, living up to its reputation for often playing into the early morning hours. Special guests are expected.
