Saxophonist Brian Lopes sat in with Ratdog Sunday at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta. Lopes, who has performed with both Aquarium Rescue Unit and the Derek Trucks Band, stepped in as the group segued from Lazy Lightning into Supplication. He then returned for a jam that led into the second verse of Dark Star, trading riffs with Ratdog saxophonist Kenny Brooks. Lopes also took the stage at the end of the encore for Franklins Tower.
Ratdog plays tonight at the Disco Rodeo in Raleigh, NC. For the complete itinerary, visit www.rat-dog.com.
