Hot on the heels of last week’s FloydFest 2004 announcement, the High Sierra Music Festival has confirmed some of the particulars for its 14th annual event. High Sierra will take place from July 1-4 at it most recent location in Quincy, CA. The roster of performers will include Sound Tribe Sector 9, Leftover Salmon, Garaj Mahal, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Friends of Dean Martinez (a band often situated in the alternative/indie world that many readers of the site could well dig), Moonshine Still and Donna the Buffalo. Many, many additional bands will be announced in the 6+ months leading up the High Sierra but if one is so inclined $99 discount tickets to the Fest are now available (through Feb 2 or while supplies last).
