On Saturday night at Tipitina’s in New Orleans,Gregg Allman took the stage with the Radiators during the middle night of the group’s three date 26th Anniversary run. Allman appeared during the second set and performed on a few songs including ‘Midnight Rider’ and ‘Slip Away.’ The Radiators also were joined by Mike Skinkus on percussion, the Bonerama horns and vocalist/ violin player Teresa Andersson over the course of the evening.
In Allman Brothers Band news, the group’s latest live release One Way Out will appear on March 23. This double disc set draws on material from last year’s Live At The Beacon Theatre DVD with some additional music from the 2003 Beacon run. On March 16, two days before this year’s Beacon opener, the group will appear on Late Night With Conan OBrien
