Donna Jean Godchaux-Mackay will perform with the Dark Star Orchestra at the Rex Foundation Benefit to take place on March 6 at the Park West in Chicago. On that night the band ‘will recreate one of the most requested Grateful Dead set lists ever’ (speculation will start here at 5/8/77- but as with all DSO gigs that will remain undisclosed until it unfolds on stage). The night will also feature a silent auction with over 50 items including signed artwork by Jerry Garcia, Warlocks art signed by the entire Grateful Dead, a Bill Walton signed basketball, and a signed Hirschfeld Lithograph of the GD. Ticket info and more details cane be found at www.rexfoundation.org.
