Tuesday is the official release date of The Honest Hour, the first disc credited to Assembly of Dust (Reid Genauer’s solo debut carried the name and featured the current AOD roster). The album was recorded this past February 21 at Revolution Hall in Troy, NY. The Honest Hour offers a number of AOD originals written by Genauer and keyboardist Nate Wilson, along with re-arranged versions of older songs that Genauer debuted with Strangefolk, including ‘Roads’ and ‘Speculator.’ The group will support the release with two shows this weekend, on Friday at Water St. Music Hall in Rochester, NY and on Saturday at Skidmore College Saratoga Springs, NY
