Following some initial concerns regarding the path of Hurricane Ivan, HarvestFest will indeed take place this weekend at Cherokee Farms in La Fayette, GA. The festival promoters have announced, ‘The rain has stopped and the forecast for the weekend is looking great. The site held up remarkably well with only a few problem areas that will be steadily improving as the site dries out.’ The line-up for the event includes Ratdog, Medeski Martin & Wood, Leftover Salmon, Derek Trucks Band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Umphrey’s McGee and many others, with music scheduled for Friday through Sunday
