The Beanland documentary, Rising From The Riverbed, once projected a spring release finally will be available next month. Rising From The Riverbed is a two disc set which includes the film on the band as well as a CD that offers music from Beanland as well as some of its contemporaries, including: Aquarium Rescue Unit, Allgood and The Grapes. George McConnell and Bill McCrory founded Beanland in 1985 and the group performed through 1993 (with occasional reunions including one earlier this year). In addition to McConnell the roster also includes his current Widespread Panic bandmate, JoJo Hermann.
