Sound Tribe Sector 9 issued its last studio effort Offered Schematics Suggesting Peace more than three years ago, so it make sense that the band is hyped up about the Februarry release of its next such effort, Artifact. How hyped up? Well, while music is still a couple months away, the swag is not, as the group is selling Artifact hoodies and Mayan-styled goodies in anticipation of the disc. If live STS9 is more your bag the band will be playing two shows at the Tabernacle in Atlanta on December 30 and 31 with Tortoise opening on New Years Eve.
