The Bill Graham Civic Center will serve as the locale for a Mardi Gras performance by Phil Lesh and Friends on February 12. The identity of Leshs group remains unannounced (although easy moneys on John Molo for starters), however we can report that Umphrey’s McGee will open the night. Lesh sat in with Umphreys earlier this year when UM performed at the Great American Music Hall on October 22. The February show is billed as Mardi Gras Spectacular 2005 and promises a costume ball and parade akin to the one Lesh participated in for many years with the Grateful Dead.
