This coming Friday will mark the final gig for the current roster of the Bridge. Bassist Ryan Porter and drummer Paul Weinberg will step aside after the New Years Eve show with Dave Markowitz and John Thomakos joining the band. The group promises to blow out the show at Baltimore’s Funk Box with an opening set from Leo Nocentelli. The founder Meters guitarists band will feature his former bandmate Russell Batiste on drums (when the Meters regrouped in 1989, Batiste joined the group in Zigaboo Modelistes stead, with Nocentelli remaining in the fold until 1994 when he moved on and Brian Stoltz stepped in).
