A few months ago we featured Lotus as our new groove of the month. More recently, the band learned that Nomad its second release, took top honors as the best selling CD from the Homegrown Music Network in 2004. The group will demonstrate how its translates its studio craft into the live setting (and vice versa) on a nationwide tour that will begin on January 21 at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA with shows confirmed through March. One of these, at North Star in Philadelphia, PA is billed as ‘An Intimate Evening of Loops, Improv, & Experiments.’
