Rock The Earth, the fledgling not-for-profit, environmental advocacy organization has announced that it will host a benefit concert at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver on Wednesday, March 23. The Snow Ball will feature music from Shanti Groove and Pete Wernick’s Live Five. Rock The Earth was founded in 2002 by Marc Ross and will direct funds from the benefit to such projects as its current campaign to oppose detrimental drilling in wilderness areas including Colorado’s Roan Plateau. Portion of proceeds from two upcoming String Cheese Incident concerts also will benefit Rock The Earth, on April 2nd and 3rd at Suede in Park City, Utah.
