New York-based concert promoters Rocks Off will lead an impressive fleet of performers around Manhattan during its fourth annual concert cruise series. Last years performers included Umphreys McGee, Rebirth Brass Band, Bomb Squad, Amon Tobin, the Benevento/Russo Duo and even the Beastie Boys, who taped a segment for the _ Chappelle Show_ onboard the cruise. This years festivities will kickoff with a post-Widespread Panic cruise on April 14 featuring Bustle in Your Hedgegrow (a Led Zeppelin tribute staring RANAs Scott Metzger, Weens Dave Dreiwitz and the Benevento/Russo Duo). Two-days later, Rocks Off will host Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons aboard its ship. Other notable performers include Tea Leaf Green (5/13), Lotus (5/25), The New Deal (5/29), Brothers Past (6/3), Zen Tricksters (6/5), Derek Trucks Band (6/22), Virginia Coalition (7/7), MOFRO (7/8), The Samples (7/14), Amon Tobin (7/28), The Machine (7/30) and Hot Buttered Rum String Band (8/9). Rocks Off will also offer an impressive roaster of non-jam talent, including The Toasters, School of Rock and Black 47, among many others. Be sure to check back for updates in the coming weeks.
