A few weeks back we ran a story on the current endeavors of the Grapes alumni and now as it turns out the group is going to reunite for an evening next Friday. Wayside Riders guitarist Romin Dawson helped to initiate the show which will feature all the original members including: Dawson on rhythm guitar, Charlie Lonsdorf on bass, Ted Norton on lead guitar, Steven Fink on keyboards and Preston Holcomb, Rick Welsh and Steve Beard on drums and percussion. The Grapes, who have not performed together in eight years, released five albums while touring nationally throughout the late 80s and 90s. The show will take place at Jake’s Toadhouse, with the Wayside Riders opening the evening.
