As Widespread Panic returns to the south for the final leg of its southern tour the band continues to reintroduce older material. Last night at the Leon Civic Center in Tallahassee, FL the group performed Four Cornered Room which last appeared on 7/7/02. This past Saturday at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC the group broke out The Last Straw for the first time since 11/6/01. A few days earlier Panic offered a version of The New Orleans classic Junco Partner that also had last appeared in November 2001. This past fall JoJo Hermann told Jambands.com that band would continue to reintegrate songs first performed with the late Mike Houser on guitar, prior to guitarist George McConnells tenure in the band, but you can only bring them back one at a time. We’re getting there but it’s still going to be a long process. We’re just going to take it at as it comes.
