Particle proved busy this weekend performing at Illinois Summer Camp, Pennsylvanias Jam on the River and Ohios Hookahville. During Particles Saturday appearance at Hookahville, the band also joined ekoostik hookah during its headlining set for a version of Life is Good, highlighting a festival filled with choice collaborations. Drew Emmitt joined hookah for a version of Lady Vanilla, as well as a medley of Metallica, Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin songs. In a moving tribute, the festivals hosts nodded to Dark Star Orchestras recently deceased Scott Larned during To Good Friends Past.
Tonight, Particles Steve Molitz will perform with a handful of fellow moog-men at New Yorks MoogFest. Particle has also added a July 1 appearance at Simon Estes Riverfront Amphitheatre to its summer tour schedule .
