Apparently set-break is a thing of the past for Trey Anastasio . Both Saturday and Sunday, Anastasio stayed onstage during his allotted break, offering fans a series of acoustic Phish songs. Noting that he usually plays acoustic guitar in his dressing room between sets, Anastasio broke out numbers like Waste, Back on the Train, and Wilson, also engaging in some humorous stage banter. After approximately fifteen minutes, 70 Volt Parade returned for the second portion of its show.

Both Friday and Saturday Anastasio also invited members of his opening bands onstage for well-received cameos. Friday night at Philadelphias Penns Landing, John Medeski emerged for an energetic Burlap Sack And Pumps, while Saturday night at Wantagh, NYs Jones Beach Amphitheater Warren Haynes added some slide-guitar to 46 Days and Push On ‘Til The Day. On Saturday Anastasio also joined Govt Mule during its opening set for That’s What Love Will Make You Do. Anastasios tour continues tomorrow at Indianapolis, INs The Lawn at White River State Park.
