Gusters Adam Gardner and the Zambonis Dave Schneider will embrace their Jewish heritage with a new side-project called The LeeVees. The duo will release its first album Hanukkah Rocks just before the holidays on October 25th. The groups current songbook includes such songs as Goyim Friends, Jewish Girls (at the Matzoh Ball) and At the Timeshare. Shortly afterwards, Guster will test out a new batch of its own songs on a brief tour scheduled to kick off on October 28 at Eastern Illinois Universitys Lantz Arena. The Matt Pond PA will supply support duties for the short outing which culminates with a two-night stand at New Yorks new Nokia Theater on November 18 and 19.
