Last March Bob Weir performed with the Waybacks on a few occasions, both at the groups Fillmore shows and later at a Seva Benefit which took place at the Great American Music Hall. The artists will collaborate again next spring as Weir will join the Waybacks on Friday night, April 28, for Merlefest. The festival, which debuted in 1988, returns to Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC on April 27-30. Meanwhile, the Waybacks will appear tomorrow afternoon at the Fall Harvest Festival in Arcata, CA.
