Phil Lesh will preview his Vegoose performances will a special ‘Vegas or Bust’ performance at San Francisco’s Bimbo’s 365 Club on October 27. Joining Lesh will be Vegoose friends Ryan Adams, Jimmy Herring, Barry Sless and Jeff Sipe. Taping will not be allowed at the 21-plus show, which marks the only time this fall Lesh will collaborate with ‘special friend’ Ryan Adams outside Vegas this fall. Lesh has also announced that he will lector in the Bay Area at the Learning Annex on January 11. Among others things, Lesh is expected to discuss Jerry Garcia, the Grateful Dead’s trip to Egypt and Altamont.
