With the fourth annual Langerado Music Festival returning to Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida with its most ambitious line-up yet, the series of events surrounding the festival has expanded as well. While the festival proper will take place on March 11 and 12, a six band ‘Sound Check’ will occur onsite at Markham Park on Friday March 10 (free to those with weekend VIP or Camping Passes and otherwise $15) with music from Perpetual Groove, Benevento Russo Duo, Buckethead, Hot Buttered Rum String Band, Theresa Andersson and Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes. The official late night schedule also will begin on that night with The Disco Biscuits appearing at Revolution and The Drive-By Truckers and Rose Hill Drive performing at The Culture Room. On the 11th, Umphrey’s McGee will headline Revolution while MOFRO and the New Mastersounds will be at the Culture Room. Finally, on March 12 Conspirator and Brothers Past will occupy at The Culture Room. Artists currently confirmed to appear at Langerado include Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Wilco, The Meters, The Black Crowes, The Flaming Lips, The Disco Biscuits, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Keller Williams, Lotus, Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Secret Machines, Umphrey’s McGee, Drive-By Truckers, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, MOFRO, Slightly Stoopid, Brazilian Girls, Rose Hill Drive, Brothers Past and Pnuma Trio.
