Next Friday the Central Plains Jamband Society is hosting an event to assist Mountain of Venus bassist Dave Gesualdo. This past fall, Gesualdo was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and the CPJS has assembled a benefit to help pay for his medical bills. Musicians scheduled to perform at Save the Dave include Speakeasy, Bockman, Charliehorse, and Bad Abby. In addition, a silent auction will be held with tickets to Wakarusa, posters, CDs, DVDs, hand-painted glass artwork and additional items. Save the Dave will take place on January 27 in Kansas City, MO at Californos in Westport with all proceeds going to Dave Gesualdo.
