In what looks to be a record 36 hours for festival news in The Latest (Bonnaroo will announce its lineup tomorrow, while we report on JazzFests 2006 over on Relix.com ), Coachella’s 2006 lineup has been revealed. In addition to headliners Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, Tool and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Coachella will boast appearances from wide range of bands, many of whom appear regularly on Jambands.com and in Relix Magazine. These artists include Sigur Ros, Common, Damien Marley, Amadou & Mariam, Digable Planets, Cat Power, Lyrics Born, Matisyahu, TV On The Radio, The Magic Numbers and My Morning Jacket, who will return to the road following Jim James recent bout of pneumonia. Scheduled to take place in Indio, CA from April 29 and 30, the multi-band gathering will also feature performances from Sleater Kinney, Gnarls Barkley (Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo), Little Louie Vega, Mylo, Seu Jorge, The Go! Team, Metric, The Dears, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Tosca, Cat Power, Animal Collective, HARD-fi, Derrick Carter and Devendra Banhart, among others.
