The Disco Biscuits, Toubab Krewe and My Morning Jacket have been added to the lineup for the 2006 High Sierra Music Festival. This performance marks the Disco Biscuits first west coast appearance since 2003 and signals the return of My Morning Jacket after singer Jim James’ recent struggle with pneumonia (the Kentucky-bred group has also confirmed appearances at Coachella and Bonnaroo). The marquee names join an already packed lineup which includes B Fleck & The Flecktones, Nickel Creek, Umphrey’s McGee, Son Volt, ReBirth Brass Band, Robert Walter’s Super Heavy Organ, Tea Leaf Green and ALO, among others. As previously reported, High Sierra will take place from June 29-July 2 in Quincy, CA.
