Last week, Bob Weir and RatDog returned to the road with a new stage setup and a new series of special guests. On Friday, RatDog performed at Myrtle Beach, SCs House of Blues, with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones supplying support duties. Fleck later joined RatDog on banjo for Bob Dylans A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall and the Grateful Dead’s Friend of the Devil. The entire Flecktones collective returned to the stage at the end of the evening, jamming with RatDog on a Franklin’s Tower, Maggie’s Farm and a show closing version of Touch of Grey. RatDogs spring tour will continue tonight at Danbury, CTs Premier Music Hall.
