For the second show in a row (minus two weeks of recording in-between), Friday night U-Melt invited Conehead Buddha/Lynch saxophonist Shannon Lynch on-stage during its second set at Albany’s Red Square. Lynch emerged during U-Melt’s set for its original ‘Air,’ which segued into a medley of Medeski, Martin and Wood’s ‘Chubb Sub’ and ‘Bubblehouse.’ As careful Jambands.com readers may remember, Lynch also joined U-Melt at snoe.down two-weeks back. U-Melt’s next scheduled gig is this Thursday at Newmarket, NH’s The Stone church. As we mentioned below, U-Melt will also appear at the Gathering of the Vibes in Mariaville, NY this August.
