Bela Fleck and the Flecktones will once spearhead the Acoustic Planet Tour this summer. Joining the Flecktones on the road for various legs of the summer long journey will be The Del McCoury Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Keller Williams, Yonder Mountain String Band, Natalie MacMaster, The Duhks, Nickel Creeks Chris Thile, Adrian Belew and Marc Broussard. The Acoustic Planet Tour will kickoff June 23 at San Diego, CAs Humphrey’s, featuring the Flecktones, Yonder Mountain String Band and Keller Williams. After the shows June 27th stop at Portland, ORs Crystal Ballroom, Chris Thile and The Duhks will swap in for Yonder Mountain and Keller Williams. The Acoustic Planet Tour will break in July while the Flecktones tour Europe, reconvening in August with The Del McCoury Band, Umphrey’s McGee Adrian Belew and Marc Broussard trading off opening duties. The second leg of the Acoustic Planet Tour is set to begin at Bostons Bank of America Pavilion on August 7.
