Yesterday we reported on Bob Weirs guest stint with the Waybacks at Wilkesboro, NC’s Merlefest. However the RatDog guitarist did not limit his appearances to those with the Bay Area quintet. On Saturday Weir sat in with the Lee Boys for versions of Dont Let The Devil Ride and Everybody Needs Somebody To Love. The next morning, the Lee Boys, which consists of three brothers and three nephews whose music builds on the sacred steel tradition, were joined by Victor Wooten for Feel The Music. The Lee Boys next gig is on Saturday at the House at Blues in New Orleans and looking ahead, they will appear on many festival bills this summer including performances at Summer Camp and Floyd Fest.
