Over the weekend, moe. and Umphreys McGee closed out their joint tour with a series of outdoor performances. On Friday, moe. used its encore for yet another pair of songs from Summer Camps Split Squads. On this evening, Split Squad 1 performed the Whos Join Together, (with Squad 2 member Rob Derhak providing mouth harp), while Split Squad 2 offered a version of Lively Up Yourself (with Squad 1 members of Joel Cummins and Chuck Garvey making guest appearances). In-between, Umphreys McGee proper offered a cover of Led Zeppelins The Song Remains The Same. A day later, the longtime friends closed out their tour with a performance at Morrison, COs Red Rocks Amphitheatre. During moe.s encore, Jake Cinninger joined the group for its St. Augustine, while all of Umphreys McGee helped moe. close out its show with a version of Blue Oyster Cults Dont Fear the Reaper.
