Dickey Betts will join Phil Lesh and Friends for its performance at Atlanta’s Hi Five Buys Amphitheatre on June 26. Betts, who has been touring with his band Great Southern since parting ways with the Allman Brothers Band in 2000, joins a all-star lineup which includes Joan Osborne, John Scofield, Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan, John Molo (Bruce Hornsby) and Rob Barraco (The Dead). Betts will add his original material to Lesh’s canon, including ‘Ramblin’ Man,’ ‘Jessica’ and ‘Blue Sky.’ Betts is the fourth onetime Allman Brothers Band guitarist to perform with Lesh, following appearances by Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks and Jimmy Herring. Lesh will perform at Bonnaroo on Sunday.
