On Saturday, MOFRO made its debut at Brooklyn, NYs Southpaw. After opening its set with By My Side, the Florida-rockers ran through a number of tunes including Dirtfloorcracka, Lazy Fo Acre, and Fireflies. During Junior, MOFRO also invited out Brooklyn resident, and saxophone everyman, Cochemea ‘Cheme’ Gastelum. In other MOFRO news, the group has recently contributed its hometown anthem, Florida, to the Hoot soundtrack. MOFRO has confirmed dates through October, including its only trip to the west coast this year. The group will also make its grand return to Montana and Idaho for the first time since 2002 in late September.
