The Disco Biscuits has confirmed the next round of artist additions for its semi-annual Camp Bisco festival. The Benevento/Russo Duo, Shpongle, and Younger Brother join a lineup that already includes The Roots, Thievery Corporation, Brazilian Girls, RJD2, Lotus, Perpetual Groove, Brothers Past, Pnuma Trio, The Juan McLean, the New Deal and, of course, the Disco Biscuits. Other additions include: Benzos, Adam Deitch Project, Infradig, Moonbox, Japhy Ryder, Psylab, Moving Matter, Elemental Harmonics, Mike Myers, and Orchard Lounge.
Camp Bisco V will kickoff a day early, on Thursday August 24, with onsite performances by a number of festival staples. Quagmire Swim Team and Lake Trout spin-off Big In Japan will sandwich the return of Moshi Moshi, keyboardist Aron Magners side-project with founding Disco Biscuits drummer Sam Altman. Moshi Moshi been dormant since a one-off gig at last summers ZEN II event. Apart from a cameo with Quagmire Swim Team earlier in the summer, this will be Altmans first public performance since leaving the Disco Biscuits last year. Gates, including campgrounds, will open on Thursday, August 24th at 5pm.
