Pete Scheips Band’s Sunday night residency at Hartford, CTs Sully’s Pub has
welcomed a number of special guests to the stage over the years, including
longtime Allman Brothers Band drummer, and area resident, Jaimoe Johanson. Last night, Jaimoe made his latest appearance with Scheips at Sully, bringing along Georgia based guitarist Barry Richmond. Of particular note was an extended bass/drum jam featuring Jaimoe and Pete Scheips Band bassist Bob Laramie, which arrived near the end of the groups second set. Currently, Jaimoe and Richmond are working on a new studio project which features bassist Dave Stoltz (Dickey Betts Band) and keyboardist Matt Zeiner.
The Pete Scheips Band will also host an after show party on August 12 for the Allman Brothers Bands Hartford, CT appearance with Tom Petty.
