This evening Railroad Earth will perform as part of the first-ever Thursday Floydfest opening night. The festival began in Floyd, Virginia five years ago, evolving out of the towns music and arts scene. This years festival has been dubbed FloydFest 5: Roots Alive, with a series of artists that reflects this tag, such as: Los Lobos, Donna the Buffalo, Tim OBrien, Drew Emmitt, Akoya Afrobeat Ensemble, Gabby La La, Cyro Baptista & Beat the Donkey, Garaj Mahal and the Lee Boys. In addition to Railroad Earth, tonights performers also include The Rockbridge Brothers and No Speed Limit.
