On July 28 & 29, the String Cheese Incident played two sets during Japans 10th Annual Fuji Rock Festival. On day one, the group revived a gag from its appearance at the 2003 Austin City Limits Festival, flying Pink Floyds famed pig onstage during its set. A few years back, longtime String Cheese Incident manager Mike Luba purchased the 40-foot pig from a former Pink Floyd stagehand and the group has busted it out on special occasions ever since. Falling a bit further away from the when pigs fly category, during its Fuji Rock performance, the String Cheese Incident also brought out Brendan Bayliss, who was in town performing with Umphreys McGee at Fuji, for a cover of Bob Marleys Lively up Yourself.
