Dave Grisman has a number of releases scheduled for the rest of the year. On August 8, the legendary Dawg musician released both a new CD, Fly on the Wall and a new DVD, Classic Dawg with the David Grisman Quartet. The former features a new waltz by Grisman and Andy Statman called New Shabbos, while the latter finds the group playing the Festival International De Jazz De Montreal in 1982 . On October 3 Grisman will also released two albums on Acoustic Disc features his veteran touring ensemble: David Grisman Bluegrass Experience and David Grisman Quintet with Dawg’s Groove. Grisman will appear September 16 at Bentonville, ARs Bentonville Jazz Festival with his longtime Quintet.
