Particle is offering up a double dose of time travel as part of its Halloween performance at the Granada Theater in Lawrence, KS. The setting will be the year 2070 where the earth’s inhabitants ‘are throwing a party to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the birth of funk.’ Over the course of the evening, Particle will pay tribute to the music of that bygone era and presumably offer a nod to the sounds of 2070 as well. In addition, concertgoers are encouraged to dress in appropriate costumes, whether those be from 1970, 2070 or somewhere in-between with the ‘God and Goddess of the Universe’ crowned on stage. Particle is off tonight but on Wednesday will perform at Ft. Lauderdale’s Culture Room.
